I like the diffenet races having different abilities, stratagies and play styles yet it is very well balanced.. closer to 'elements' than 'MTG', still very functional and suprisingly good.. It's very nice to find a game that I can play on my phone... and then come home to continue my progress on my PC. I played this all last summer, and really found it to be challenging, and yet fun. The cards really do have a sense of power behind them... rare cards really are rare, and helpful, and choosing the right one when given the opportunity can actually take almost an hours worth of deciding... so that you can build your perfect deck.The turns are pretty simple, the tutorial TAKES OVER AN HOUR.... and yet gives you everything you need to know about playing the game, and even some strategy tips. While running through the free card games on steam, I stumbled across Hidden Dimensions 3. Since it was a SciFi themed game, it immediately skipped to the top of my playlist.Then I was stuck in an absolutely tiny window reading an excessive amount of text in the tutorial because I couldn\u2019t adjust the resolution once the tutorial began. I admit, that soured me on the game. As for the tutorial itself, it was thorough and explained things fairly well, BUT it didn\u2019t feel like I learned how to truly play since I was simply told the rules and told what to play when. The tutorial is both very good and not a proper introduction to playing.Giving the game another chance does reveal a lot of good things about it. The ships are good. There is excellent variety and quality art. The game design and game play is reasonable and well thought out. Unfortunately the game feels too slow over all. Even playing with a speed human deck it feels like you are grinding away in order to win.If you are looking for a new card game, you could certainly do worse. This game doesn\u2019t make it into my recommend list, but that doesn\u2019t mean it won\u2019t make it into yours.. Pretty mediocre compared to previous games. the ui is much uglier and less user-accessible compared to Xyth, there's no story in the campaign, the campaign mode is linear and bad. it's very difficult to figure out what some of the new keywords (mitigation, restore,♥♥♥♥♥♥like that) do, due to the unintuitive and bad UI. mitigation is a bad mechanic, discouraging the most exciting decks (MT, RV and RD ones in particular). screen space is wasted, forcing the user to click to read about a card instead of just giving hover text. some things are buffed and nerfed from Xyth, so that's the only upside I can see. All in all, not very good.. One of the best battle card games available. I like the diffenet races having different abilities, stratagies and play styles yet it is very well balanced.
